The v3.0 solves the one way an AirTag holder fails: the tag falling out. Here the keyring itself is the lock — the AirTag can only come out when the ring comes off, so a snag on a bag or a drop onto pavement can't pop it loose.

The tag rides fully enclosed. No cutouts, no exposed edges: scratches stay off the AirTag, and the holder reads as a plain leather fob rather than announcing a tracker.
