The Slade Classic does one thing and does it well — it carries everything you actually need, flat in your pocket, without ever making you feel it.

It starts with the leather. We cut each wallet from full grain vegetable-tanned leather — the top layer of the hide, surface untouched, tanned slowly with plant extracts instead of chemicals. Fresh from the workshop it feels structured and firm. That's intentional. Vegetable-tanned leather is leather in its most honest form, and it needs a few weeks of daily carry to loosen up and start becoming yours.

Inside, three compartments keep cards and cash sorted without adding bulk. The easy-access back pocket puts your most-used card within reach — no need to open the wallet at the register. Unfolded bills slide under the front flap and stay flat: no folding, no fumbling, no creased corners.

Every seam is stitched by hand in our Istanbul workshop. Hand stitching takes longer than a machine ever would, but the result doesn't unravel — if a single stitch wears through decades from now, the rest hold their ground.
